Scope and control

This policy applies to AIKapoy web and extension services. AIKapoy is user-triggered: it processes text, context, and actions only when you explicitly request generation, analysis, search, or dashboard actions.

Data we collect

We collect account profile data (such as email and sign-in provider), extension session records, product settings, billing state, and service telemetry. We also collect request metadata used to operate quota, rate limiting, token metering, and support diagnostics.

Content you send

When you use AIKapoy, you may send prompts, selected page context, chat thread context, and optional mode-specific inputs. We process that content to generate responses, summaries, rewrites, analyses, and related outputs.

How AI processing works

Generation requests are processed server-side through model providers configured by AIKapoy. Model credentials are not embedded in the extension. Extension access and refresh tokens are stored as hashed values in backend session records.

Optional web search

If Web Search is enabled for a request, AIKapoy sends a search query and receives search results from third-party search infrastructure. Search is optional and mode-limited. Search providers may process query data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Billing and token metering

For paid services, AIKapoy stores plan, subscription, and wallet records. Billing events are processed via LemonSqueezy webhooks. Overflow usage can be token-metered, including request-level usage fields such as token totals and metering outcomes.

Security and access controls

We apply technical and operational safeguards designed to protect data in transit and at rest. Access is limited to authorized systems and personnel with a business need. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Retention and deletion

We retain data for service delivery, fraud prevention, billing reconciliation, legal obligations, and support operations. Retention periods may vary by data type and regulatory requirements. We may delete or anonymize data when no longer required.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material updates are reflected by a revised Last updated date. Continued use of AIKapoy after changes means you accept the updated policy.
